Use alarm monitor when you need to know if you patient is trying to get up from their bed or chair. Move the monitor from the bed pad to the chair pad as required. Pads simply connect to alarm monitor with a simple 'phone jack' type connector. Place the bed pad under your patient's back area (under the lower sheet) so that you get the earliest alert. Alarm will sound when they sit up, and before they start to swing their legs around to the side of the bed. In the chair, simply place the pad in the seating area. When they start to rise, the alarm will sound!
